Aagan Foods Wheat Flour (Atta) is the cornerstone of the Pakistani diet, and we treat it with the respect a staple food deserves. We source high-quality, golden wheat grains from the fertile plains of Punjab. Instead of using high-speed steel rollers that generate heat and strip the flour of its nutrients, we use traditional stone-milling (chakki) techniques. This method grinds the wheat slowly and at cooler temperatures, ensuring that the bran, germ, and endosperm are all retained. This means our flour is a true whole grain product, rich in fiber, B vitamins, and natural wheat flavor.
Commercial flours often have the wheat germ removed to extend shelf life, resulting in a “dead” flour that is purely starch. Aagan Foods Atta is living food. It has a slightly coarser texture than refined flour and a sweet, wholesome aroma.
